V3i's bluetooth transfer speed

I got my V3i today and tried to use Bluetooth(USB bluetooth dongle on my laptop) to transfer some MP3 to my phone (via BlueSoleil OBEC), but the speed is so low, only about 10~12KB/s, is that normal? I used the same dongle with Motorola E815 and the speed is much higher.
Is my v3i defective or it's normal? Thanks!

That's the speed I'm getting with my Belkin dongle. The speed is the same on both my Mac and my Dell.

Is this a bug? I can't remember the exact number with my wife's E815, but it's much faster(at least 80-90KB/s) since I can transfer a 4MB MP3 in mucher shorter time. They are both using Bluetooth 1.1/1.2. Ahh, only 11MB free memory on V3i vs 40MB on E815.
