W810i Light Keeps On Flashing On & Off

My W810i light keeps on flashing on & off non-stop. I tried to turn the light off, but that doesn't seem to work. I also tried turning the light on, then off, but that doesn't seem to work either. Is anybody else with a W810i having this same problem? Is there any way to stop the continous flashing of the light?

upgrade firmware

I tried to upgrade my firmware through SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service), but it keeps telling me that I have the latest firmware installed. My current firmware is R4CK003.

Take it back. It must be under warranty. It's a brand new phone, no?

Yeah, don't worry about it. I was able to update the firmware through SEUS and the flashing light has stopped.

No, well... I first heard of the W810i firmware update from the UK. Then I tried to update through SEUS but it kept telling me that I had the latest firmware installed already. And I remember someone saying that the latest firmware fixes the flashing light bug at the SE Developer World forums. Then all of a sudden the light on my W810i started flashing continously, so that's when I figured out that I didn't have the latest firmware. So I tried to update through SEUS one more time but the same thing. It wasn't until 2 days later when I tried again that SEUS actually updated my firmware. So I guess it took a while before North America received the update.
