FS: Imate Jamin Like New $450USD

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I'm starting to email with my jamin more these days and am thinking I finally want a keyboard device. I'll likely get the hermes when it comes out but am looking to sell my jamin and p/u an 8125 for now.

Anyway, I'll pay for shipping within the US (ground with insurance). I'm asking $450USD. It's in perfect condition with no scratches and has had a screen protector on since day 1. It comes with the usb cables and all software (unopened) and box.

I'll post pics if needed but my dig camera stinks. My jamin camera is actually the one I use for everything. Anyway, if you really want to see it, you can watch the video I did of it on my review I posted.

PM or email me @ mikewchandler at yahoo dot com.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm trying the 8125 this weekend and if it works out ok, neo001 is buying my jamin. Thanks

Posted by: mikewchandler

Ok. I used the device (8125) for 3 hours and can't stand the extra bulk and wiggly keyboard. I'm spoiled to the size and solidity of the jamin. Sorry for any confusion and thanks to those who contacted me.

I can't believe you almost defected to the dark side! Good to see you came to your senses.

Yeeeeeap . . . glad you didnt change your device (bad for me hehe) I have a JaMin anyways , so Mike welcome to the wizard (the ugliest phone) hating club

May the force be with you (n your jamin)....

I feel sheepish.

Hmmm .. the KB on my 8125 is not wiggly. Also, the 8125 with Summiter's cooked ROM is much faster than any available for the Prophet (I've had both):

You just can't beat walking down the street chatting with someone via Agile Messenger using the keyboard I use it like a pager: If some wants to contact me, they chat in real time. To this day, no one can guess I'm on a phone. The KB is that useful. Go to the "dark side": It's more powerful

Yeah, the keyboard is pretty solid....better than the kjam's I reviewed back when they first came out. But, the extra bulk is hard to get used to. It's not as easy getting out of the case either. The buttons on the top aren't as practical. I like the keyboard better and better, the more I mess with it, though.

I actually did not like the 9100 at all when I first got it. I was sitting in the kitchen at my house putting it back in the box to sell to someone who might like it better when I decided to just use it for the day. Yeah, it is pretty thick, but the keyboard made it worthwhile. After a week of leaving the Jam on the nightstand and taking the 9100 with me I knew I wasn't going back to not having phone with a keyboard.

I would love to have the Jamin for weekends though. The Universal doesn't need to go with me to a bar or game and the Wizard is still thick enough to make my jeans tight...

I bet that decision is going to get tougher the longer you have the 8125 in hand!

Yeah, I bet you're right. I like the keyboard. I like the size and button layout of the jamin. I think I'm taking the 8125 back tomorrow. I have it boxed up. What are you getting rid of your 9100 for anyway?

Mike, dont listen to them.Join us Luke. Seriously,it will grow quickly on you especially when it comes to banging out emails texts msg's, docs, etc also has a solid feel to it and is faster. I think you should try out properly for a day or perferably 2 WITHOUT any reservations or thoughts as it to being a "test" or "experimental" unit.
ps - dont forget the dual speakers!!!!

Posted by: mikewchandler

Took it back. I think I might enjoy the hermes with the extra buttons on bottom. Not sure if it will pull me from the jamin or not? It sure is thin and already has the 2mpix camera.

Posted by: neo001

Yeeeahhh you didnt go the dark side , yeaaahh hehehe and yeap regardless that I do not like the style I will sure buy a Hermes also

Posted by: mikewchandler

In anticipation of the tytn/hermes, I have my jamin back for sale. Thanks to my lovely wife, there is now a small ping on the top/right corner of the device. It is still in excellent condition (screen protector on since day 1, no other scratches or flaws at all) and I'd rate it a 9.5 out of 10. But, for the ping, I'll likely drop the price to $400USD and pay for shipping. PM or email with any questions. mikewchandler AT yahoo DOT com.

Mike,

I'm not going to buy your Jamin, but wanted to say: this is one of the funniest BST threads in a long time...

Good luck on the sale and the Hermes buy!

Posted by: mikewchandler

Yeah, it's probably not the correct way to sell something on hofo?

Posted by: mikewchandler

Ok...this is still for sale for $400USD and I'll still pay shipping. Can most likely ship by Monday,17th as I'm expecting my hermes equivalent to arrive tomorrow. PM or email with questions/offers. mikewchandler AT yahoo DOT com

Hi I am interested in Toronto Canada. Can you send me a pic of your pda?
Thanks! Price sounds fine to me.

Posted by: DavidM

Mike,

Who is shipping the Hermes at the moment.

Seems stock is coming in as we speak.

Posted by: mikewchandler

A dishonest person.....so no one. It became transparent after a day or so. I'm still looking at the 8125....probably unlocked as I'm not sure I need to spend $800USD on hermes.....and I don't want to spend $40USD/mon on data when I don't/won't tether and the medianet will work just fine.

Posted by: mikewchandler

Thanks everyone...my device is sold.
