They need to offer better ones. The pinkish one & the blue one are ok, though the pinkish one kinda looks like a baby phat imitation or something Paris Hilton would use. The first one looks like a graffiti tag & the brown one looks like a LV pattern.

They need to expand their intended consumer base, lol...

He nor his comment are racist, the person/s who coined the term "ebonics" and officiated it as a separate language spoken only by black people is a racist. So are the people who have begun to market the SK line to the stereotypical "gangsta" crowd. Notice that the download catalog is about 90-95% rap, and look at those backgrounds if you think I'm wrong. It's not 'racist' to make an observation.

I wish they'd just market the damn thing to the general public instead of cheapening it's image by making it all ghetto-fabulous & teen-oriented like that.

Im not racist, im just tired of companies targeting the wrong market. Not many teenagers can afford a $400 phone! If the phone had a better gui the sales would pass the blackberry, treo, HP units. Just change the OS and we are in business!

Maybe Danger is racist for targeting the rap scene and its followers? There are no other phones that uses such stereotypical designs as graphics/wallpapers. Fake LV style print as a background?

This is actually one of the reasons I no longer use my sidekick. I almost felt unwelcome to even use the device b/c I wasn't ghetto enough.

there's one more company the markets to the ghetto crowd- boost mobile. Look at their slogan~
