w600i does it disply picture of person calling u?

I got a w600i. Unbranded, unlocked.
I setup a friend, put his name/number in. Took a pick of him and attached it to the contact I made. When I call him, it shows his pic, no probs.
when he calls me, it doesn't display his picture...
I scanned the options, but I don't see anything to turn it on...
it would be really suc_ky to be so onsided on this. to show the pic when u call out, but not when he calls in, and Call display catches the number perfectly, displays his contact name of him calling, just not the pic... ARGH!!
does the w810i do it if this does not.?

nobody knows if this phone can display a picture to a specific number when that number calls in ???!

I just purchased one of these phones Sony Ericsson W600i from the cingular website and want some opinions. Its really too much phone for me, I am not a phonaholic, but with $200.00 in rebates, who could resist. Is this phone a good one? Is it as good as the critics have said it is? I am in Louisiana and never had a problem with my cheap old samsung, but it seems like this one does it all. I just would like some honest advise, as cingular has already told me they would take it back. I don't need the phone for checking emails, like the camera and the fact that I can make my own ringtones, but like I said, would like someone else's opinion. You know critics lie. LOL

It should work. Ok you go in to your contacts. Select "edit contact" for the contact in which you would like to add the pic for. Then after that scroll over until you see the picture option. Then just select a picture. It's that easy

and when I call the number, it displays the pic...

but when he/she calls in, and it matches up correctly, the number that is...
it just says the persons name....
it is being used on the Fido Network...

You need to put the areacode + the 1 or whatever

for me I have to put the whole 10 digit number to make it work + 1.

I need the "+" ?
as I think I had the "1" infront...
when the person calls in, it shows the name of the person from my contacts list, as it matches up fine...
I will try it though.. tx.
