Hey guys,

I edited some of the legitimately purchased music from my computer to use as a ringtone for my phone.

However I can't use it because it says the file cannot be set as a ringtone, is there a way around this?

Did you convert it to something compatible with your phone?

Telus disabled the ability to allow you to use your own files as ringtones. They want you to purchase ringtones from them. Check in the Telus forum for more details.

Hello and welcome to HoFo. First, please try to use a better described subject title when you post. Just use the phone model number won't help a lot. Read the STICKY thread regarding the etiquette http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=281681

Back to your question, it has been discussed before in Verizon and Telus forums. You can read the threads there: http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...t=931041&page=2, http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...t=919059&page=3,
