hi folks. i'm wanting to flash my 2 week old V3x and at this stage i am just getting all my software installed and working so i can do a backup incase things go pear shaped..

so i had P2K Commander 2.9 working just fine a week ago. yesterday it would start up fine, but when i select 'p2k phone' to read the contents, after a minute or so i'd get a 'this program has broken and needs to stop' kind of message (wanting to send an error message to MS). i don't send the error message. i just ok it and close.

i tried v3.3.0beta and got it again...

then i noticed a stable v3.3.0 available and it gave me this doozey...

i'm noticing that P2K Commander is the preferred P2K manager in the guides i've been reading and i used to like it with my old e398 so i would really like to get this working.

i remember the e398 used to have issues with some softwar if the transflash card was inserted, but that doesn't seem to be a problem with this phone. or is it?

any hints perhaps please? and while i'm at it... what's the best current MP/reflash combo available. i'm with optus here in australia and i'd like to keep the 'obey moto' stuff. not that i use it.. it just amuses me somewhat ;P

P2k commander isnt compatible with the V3x... some beta versions are floating around....

Use leaderGL flex editor for now...
