strange legacy blue customer account

Hi, I had a customer come in thinking about upgrading. He has a legacy account that matured out of contract a year ago. As per his plan, incoming is free and outbound is metered at 10 cents a message. That was the case up until about half a year ago it seems. I was able to pull up past bills, and then he says she puts out around 100 messages a month outgoing and at least 200 incoming, and absolutely no listings for ANY sms is found on any bills for the past half year. He's never been billed for the texts. So it's seeming like unlimited sms. Needlesstosay, he held off on migrating and is going to try to ride this one out. Anyone else ever see anything like this?

I've got a weird one for you.

I had a blue gsm customer come in (blue phone AND and at&t sim card in it) whose account had been converted (not migrated) and he was on a FT plan with rollover!!

I thought I was seeing things and had to have it verified by several reps.

we had a customer come in who was on a blue family share plan but the account said it was an orange account. not a mirgrated, not a converted, not a mirgrated/converted account, but an orange account.

and the crazy thing was that the rest of the lines on the family plan were all converted.

Customers who have both Blue and Orange plans will find that their accounts will have merged (assuming their Blue accounts were converted) and will find themselves under the same BAN #. I don't remember where I got the information from (not rumor), but that converted customers were able to have a Orange plan without upgrading their phones.

oh i also had a guy who had done a migration from blue tdma to blue gsm, didn't like it, and switched back. well he never worried about it again until they converted accounts and he had a "phantom" phone number and account created. he was also getting billed for this account and phone number that was never active. it all got worked out, but i've seen some crazy stuff since the conversion.

You know they built orange CSE plans for blue customers so they can change to current pricing (on most things) as long as they are converted.
