Does anyone have trouble running these on T-zones with the Proxy? I for one cannot use them as i get a connection error. On the other hand i don't have any problems browsing regular websites through PIE which should have normally directed me to the WAP version.

Also, on the Razr, i didn't have any trouble running these programs with the same settings. Makes me think if the problem is WM specific.

Any ideas?

Guys, i would appreciate any insight on this problem. I don't know what i am doing wrong as everything worked fine on the RAZR with the same settings and on the same plan as now.

Any ideas? Any at all?!?!

My understanding is that T-Zones only allows access through the proxy. I can get google mobile to work fine (that is the website and my personalized page) with the built in browsers, but Opera Mini uses an Opera proxy and will not work with the T-Zones plan (Opera mobile, however, will work). Did you follow the sticky on GPRS settings?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for replying. I mainly wan't to use google maps on the Qtek 8500. I don't care much for Opera Mini. I read various forums including HoFo regarding T-Zones proxy and i still can't get google maps to work on my device. What is odd is that if i switch the SIM into my RAZR, i can get google maps to work fine.

There are some device issues with Google maps, I found good tips in the forums on google's mobile map site.
