treo 650 problems with treo headset?

anyone else having problems with their headset..?
i must have replaced my headset 2x already, and going on my 3rd.
I'm getting a lot of static, on the headset.
I'm using the standard headset from Treo
and
also tried the Motorola H500 bluetooth
When i listen or talk to it, i hear some crazy static on the headset.
Anyone else having this Problem??????
