Hi all,

Ive been trying to transfer some of my mp3's to my V3x to listen to or use as ringtones but i'm having real problems.

I can copy them over using mpt but the phone wont play them.
I've since gone into the melody suite section to try it that way but im told the mp3 codec is either missing or not supported. this happens with all mp3s and wavs.

Anyone got any idea's?

I've ripped the tracks from my cd's to mp3 using windows media player.

As ever any help is greatly appriciated

make sure your mp3s aren't set too high of a bit rate...under 192kbps is good, also make sure that they're set at a constant bit rate not variable bit rate, otherwise your phone might see it as a corrupt file.
