Hi guys, I think the rubber pressure button that tells the phone when the clam is open has become sticky. When I open my phone lately it takes a good 4-5 seconds for the screen to light up. I'm quite certain it's the rubber button thingy because if I nudge it with a pen a few times will fix it'self but only temporarily. Is there some way to clean this thing. I can even hear the button unstick if I put my ear right up to it after I open the phone. Makes a subtle "tick" as it's pops up.

i know back in the day i had my v600 and it had the same prob, except the rubber peice was on the line of shutting off and staying on so every time i would close it, it would flicker the screen constantly and when i brought it to a service centre, they took a look and popped the button ******ds more and it fixed the problem.

Most motorolas use a T6 screwdriver. I know the v635, V600, V551, V400, V300 and the ROKR use the T6...not sure bout the others
