V3m v. E815

I'm getting ready to change phones, and will be primarily using the phone at college, but won't be living in a dorm. I'll be using Verizon for a provider, so I'll have to unlock the OBEX myself for either phone. Does anyone have any experiences good or bad with either? And does anyone have reccomendations either way? I'm not looking at any features over another, just a good balance of features.

The e815 has more hacks to it and is a better phone in my opinion since it has mp3 and not wma.

I was leaning towards the E815 for the hacks. Other than the vibrate then ring and the OBEX open, what other hacks are notable if any?

You can look on the verizon page there should be a thread there on the different hacks for this phone.
