SLVR L7 "Calling..." - Help

I'm using an unbranded SLVR L7 on T-Mobile US. It frequently gets into a state where it will not complete a call. Dial the number, phone says "Calling..." but no call is connected. Cannot receive calls in this state either. Only solution is to reboot the phone.
Others have reported this on Cingular also.
Any ideas would be very appreciated.
