Originally posted by digitalic Woohoo! Nice, now this is what I'm waiting for... Finally...I noticed on the site they only offer Silver/White? Hrmm but I thought the p800 only comes in Electric Blue? Is there pictures of the silver/white version? I want to see what it looks like... |

Originally posted by jeffharris All the pictures, including of the silver/white, shows the same as now, with blue. But, from the P800 site there, I quote: Just in case the camera isn't entertainment enough, the P800 comes fully equipped with games, a video clip viewer and enough customizable features to keep you happy for weeks I guess that means our fun ends about now ???

Originally posted by Tr0LL =) that's what phone insurance from my service provider is for... They warranty any phone I have, no questions... I might not get a P800 (obviously because it's not out yet) in return, but I can always get the phone that is in the same class (the highest phone they carry obviously) which I can always resell and buy another P800 with... That's assuming they can't fix it locally (after all it's just electronics)... Plus, I don't intend on it breaking... Anyways, if such an expensive phone can break in under 1 year (no dropping it or human fault of course) then perhaps even at $650, it's not worth buying... I think the warranty is only 1 year anyway. And if you drop it and it breaks... haha, no manufacturer warranty is gonna cover that anyway... I've had like 5 different Ericsson Phones (2 of them were T68is) and none have even had a bad screen on me (like the Nokia 8290 did)... There is always a price to pay to have exclusiveness and the latest "toys" before everyone else (whether it's a little more money or do away with the 1 year limited warranty). I remember when I had the T68i back in January last year I think? Or was it February? I don't remember, but it was a good 6-7 months later before I saw every teenager in the world carry one... But hey, I'm not telling you why YOU should buy it now... I'm just answering the question that other guy asked about why ppl would pay a little more when you can supposively get it straight from Sony Ericsson in "2-4 weeks." To each.... their own... the phone would have been worth every penny if I paid anything for it. Fortunately for me after selling the other P800s I had, it was free...

Originally posted by havelock That is understandable. Are you from india? You live in the US now? I actually have a question about service in India. Does it make since to pay for T-mobile's international service (like $2.99 a minute in India) or can you get a SIM card that allows you to roam all over India while you are there and RECEIVE calls for free from the US? Also how much are the placed calls on a BPL or another service providers SIM?? What would you recommend? I have been to India a couple of times and I am planning a trip now. I have a tri-band phone and I'm trying to figure out the most cost effective way to place and receive calls from there. |
I'm guessing they're holding off the Sliver ones and sell the blue one first~ oh well..

By the way this is the URL I was trying to give you guys yesterday that has the P800 aval now. Like I mentioned I have bought from this guy before and he is very trustworthy... www.*************.net |
