PEBL HELP! Entry mode is ALL CAPS for txt messages

Hi, By default my phone entry is all caps. I have it set to tap but not itap. It's annoying because all my text messages COME OUT LIKE THIS. or when I input someone's name in my phone book it does the same thing. The entry mode is ABC 1^ I have to press the zero button twice so its Abc so then I can type like this "Hi how are you. What's up" now if I delete a character it goes back to the defualt all caps ABC 1^. "Hi how are yoU WHAT'S UP"

Is there a seem edit for this? I can't find anywhere to change this and it's really annoying. there has to be a way to change it so it defaults to Abc and not ABC
