Advisory question re: moding RAZR V3m into a slvr body

So considering Verizon has the worst phones this side of the Mississippi, I have decided to try and port a better phone to cdma. Basically what I want to try and do is get my “new every two” razr from Verizon, take the circuit board out and stick it into a slvr. Then I can have a Verizon slvr (I ahte clam shell phones). I figure the body style is pretty similar, and I can leave the slvr lcd intact and only move the circuit board over. What I am asking of the Howard community is for advice, road blocks, and any direction that can be offered. Thank you in advance for any input. Thank you!
