I want to reconfigure the button on the side below the volume button to a back button anyone know how to do this?

I don't have a 650, but i have a 700 and I can edit that button by going to Prefs-> Buttons-> 'Press+Hold Side Button'. see if there is one there if not then. dunno. Maybe there is a button configuration program to download.

You can configure the side button to launch a program but there normally isn't an option to set it as a "back" button.

Go into the Prefs app. Under Personal, tap on the Buttons. And select the app you want to launch. By default it launches RealPlayer.

You may want to look at other Treo apps like Initiate, Butler or similar ones where you can customize the Treo functionality.

I haven't really looked into this so maybe someone may have an answer to set it as a "back" button.
