I've tried turning off test mode (not that it was ever turned on) as referenced here:

I used PST 732 and P2Kcommander 3.2.6 and BitPM to add mp3 ringtones to the phone. I lost my transflash

so they all get stored in the hone. I was surprised to NOT see them available in the Ring details screen. I had to go to media manager in the phone and for each mp3 apply as ringtone. Then when I went back to ring details they were available.

I had deleted two mp3s from the phone from the cable, and re-uploaded them with different names. The previous files were ghosts. Filename shown in phone but NOT from either BitPM or P2Kcommander??

So I thought resetting the phone (the option above master reset) would kick them out. NOPE. I applied the seem to skip the moto animation. My startup bleep sounds (taken from default shared audio) then my customer startup FBI animation that I pulled from THE motomodder thread, then the screen is totally white... with ocassionally the top screen icons displayed. I can get into the camera mode, and 'say a command' menu looks just fine. Menu-8 icons show through a solid black background. Hitting menu displays nothing, but it is functional. I can place- and receive calls. Sometimes the solid white is eventually replaced with the beach wallpaper. I usually show zero icons, but I thought reset would put them back: they're still missing.

I wrote back to phone my 2742_0001_7a.seem, powered off, pulled battery, put it back, powered on, and still white

What can I do myself to clear this up?
