MMS on P910i settings - read only

I have vodaphone P910i - moved on to o2 monthly business contract. Phone is unblocked. new internet settings work through o2 and sms but the mms downloaded settings will not instal and i get a message - existing vodaphone mms settings are read only and cannot be changed. ?
can anyone advise on this ?
