hey guys..i really need your help...i just was wondering which of these phones is better overall (sound quality, reception, features, display, etc.)...the motorola t720 or the se t68i...(btw i have At&t service in the nyc/nj area)...

i like both phones but want the better one..ive heard many bad things about the se t68i regarding dropped calls, etc butmy roomate has the phone and says is works fine...do you think that moto. will provide better rf? how about features-wise..i really do not need blue tooth so that is not an issue...

your responses would be greatly appreciated

i've had both--i coudln't stand the fact the t68i would take a while to find a signal, and it would only find signal in areas of really good reception

t720's RF is MUCH better than the t68. t720 has a lot of good features, like poly tones, wallpaper, etc. but i think the t68 has a tad more (like picture caller id)

i got too frustrated w/ the t68's rf since in my area you gotta have a phone w/ good rf. if your area is well covered than hopefully you won't experience it.

i'm very happy w/ the t720

T68i has very slow response time to keypad inputs at times, plus it buffers your key strokes, so by the time it processes them, there is no telling where you may be. Delays can run as long as 3 sec. Drove me to drink and dumped it quick

I vote for T720 moto, more stable , then t68i , a lot of features adeed , seems moto is more flexible then last years , they understand what meens " costumer demands ".. .. and of course I can say technicly moto T720 have gain more points then t68i ...

i haven't tried the T68i but i have tried the T720.. overall, i wasn't all that pleased with it.. i didn't like the phonebook since i couldn't save any addresses or emails.. and if an entry had several numbers to it, the name would be listed several times with a number each.. the games on mine were only demo so i couldn't play the whole thing.. alarm clock is very important to me since i depend on the alarm clock on my phone.. the T720's alarm clock only works when the phone is on, not when it's off.. when i was using mMode on it, it seemed like it took forever to get to what i was trying to do.. i've had many dropped calls from it and doesn't hold up a very good reception, compared to the Nokia 6590 that i traded it in for (observations were at the same place)..

on the other hand, impressive features were the color screen, ability to change color schemes, wallpaper, polyphonic ringtones that sound nicer to the ear, and i just liked the clamshell style..

i was actually thinking to exchange the T720 for a T68i, but i didn't since i was worried that i wouldn't like that either.. i tried the phone in an AT&T store and i didn't like how the joystick responded.. so i didn't really get to play around with the phone cause the joystick annoyed me..

used both...
hmm...
t68i has bad rf.... average color screen..

t720..better rf..(not the best but better)..... somewhat nicer screen...IMO~

so...another vote goes to t720

My vote goes to the T68i (i can put up with crappy RF at times)
I hate the T720's menu system, man its horrible...just sits there and stares at you, blocking the background and all. Just my opinion

I find the T720 to have an even slower keypad input response than the T68i. The screen is more readable especially when using WAP but the menu system sucks compared to the T68i. The clamshell design is great but overall I would choose the T68i since it also has infrared and bluetooth.

..what about T720i ?? ..

The T720i is basically the same but doesn't have e-mail capabilities but in it's place has MMS and a Camera option. But data space is also decreased so you're more limitied in the amount of downloadable ringtones and games. Battery life is better than the T720 however.

i also had both. 68 has good build. bad reception. so i got t mo t720i. it has very good reception even tho its the same network

I like the T720 a lot better. It's easier to use and doesn't lag as much as the T68. I also like the T720 screen a lot better, too.
