I am really liking my V3i with iTunes, however, there are some places I travel where Verizon is the only one with coverage. I have been thinking about the V3m but have been turned off because it can't play my protected aac files. Is it at all possible to put iTunes on a V3m.

No its not possible... the only iTunes app for phones I've seen is Java... and the verizon phone's don't support Java, they use BREW...
