This is gonna drive me crazy. I just need some RSS feeds on my phone, is it really that hard?

Try Ilium's Newsbreak.

I would try NewsBreak or Skookum.

If you decide on getting Newsbreak, I would suggest checking out getting a Modaco.com subscription. They have alot of software available with subscription. Check it out here .

I tried Newsbreak. It won't let me import from an opml file. Its like the browse menu is missing. wtf

edit: and skookum is buggy as hell. Sometimes you can't get back to the main menu, and it doesn't give an alert option. I still have to check the feeds.

Have you checked out NewsGator, either the mobile web-based UI or the new (in beta) NewsGator Mobile...both great products, I've pretty much started using the web clients b/c they are faster, but the installed app works well too and gives you 'off line' reviewing of your sync'ed feeds...

www.howardforums.com is PIE enabled so makes reading on desktop/phone seamless.

Yeah, it's not too cool that you can't browse for the file. It should pick it up if you place the opml file in the My Documents folder on your device. Try that. I use Newbreak alot and have been really happy with it.

I like to use Bloglines. Web based, but it keeps the downloads down and works well for me. Plus I read the same RSS on my home PC, work PC and phone. And when I read a selection on one, it is read on all, and goes away until the feed is updated. There is a mobile version at http://www.howardforums.com/mobile that works well on my SDA.

(Sorry - autigers20, You beat me to it!)
