V3 earpiece no sound possible fix inside

Hi Guys;

I spilt liquid over my v3 during the night, woke up to find it wet but still on.

removed battery and got the hair dryer out and dried the thing.

then I noticed that several keys decided not to work.

I finally succumbed to it and bought a new Keypad Flex for £15

followed the instructions on how to dismantle it and replaced it all.

then after everything was done I noticed that I didnt have any sound coming from my earpiece but DID have sound through my Jabra Bluetooth and also via loudspeaker.

The preblem was that when I removed the screen etc for the new ribbon to connect up it wasn't giving a good contact and it needed packing, all I used was a part of a filter from a cigarette re assembled it all and VOILA it works perfect!
