v3m bluetooth problems

Hello everyone,
This is my first post here, and I'm hoping that someone could help me.

I just recently got a Moto V3M, and cant seem the use the bluetooth for file transfers. I'v looked all over the internet for someway of getting past this, but cant seem to find anything. I'v tried all the ways that people used for the V3C (I think thats what its called) and V3i, but they dont work for the V3m.

what carrier do you have??

do you have a bt dongle?? did you properly pair both the phone and bt dongle??

obex has been disabled by verizon on v3m's. these phones cannot transfer files and there is no hack currently available. you are out of luck.

You can though, flash to something like the Alltel firmware of a V3c, right?

That's what I'm planning on doing.

You can SEEM EDIT the phone and do Bluetooth File transfers using the Motorola Phone Tools software (aka MPT, formerly Mobile Phone Tools) on your PC...

Ok, so its not bluetooth OBEX.. BUT its better than no bluetooth... and it is something that while it technically voids your warranty, is extremely difficult for Verizon stores to tell...

Well, I paired them correctly, but I have no idea what "bt dongle" is. I'm new to this phone hacking world.

The BT dongle is the Bluetooth dongle or Bluetooth device - he was asking what kind of Bluetooth hardware you have (like a DLink usb Bluetooth dongle, or perhaps a laptop with built-in Bluetooth, etc ... )

But like has been posted, there is no OBEX on the V3m - for BT services you should see the handsfree (perhaps Audio Gateway) and the DUN (Dial Up)

And?
What services to you have/see available when you pair with your V3m?

EDIT: You aren't going to be able to do any file transfers via Bluetooth with a mac - not unless you flash it with the V3c Alltel flash that has OBEX (and NO memory card features/ability)

I have Verizon,
But it looks as if this is all just going to be too complicated for me. I think I'll just suck it up and conform to zerizon's evil ways.
