I have no idea what I could've done to provoke this, but...

I had my phone charging and the memory card in a reader so I could make a ringtone. I put the card in and went to assign the tone, and the buttons sound...weird. I have no idea how to describe it, other than that the button tones sound like crap now. When I have speakerphone on and go through the menus, it sounds fine. But when I use the regular speaker, it sounds like crap.

I'll work on getting a recording of it, but I figured I'd post this now incase anyone else had the same problem.

You may have to turn your volume up to hear it well. In the recording, I turned the speakerphone on, then went through the keypad 1-9, * 0 # and End. Then I turned the speaker phone off so the sound only went through the earpiece, and did the same pattern, but after I hit end, I went to the Menu, hit down a few times, and then hit End again.

Anyone had the same problem? Any chance of it getting replaced?

i have the same problem but i spilled rubbing alchool form work on mine and it did that. I am looking for a replacement speaker and so far they dont seem to expensive.
