P910i and Vodafone message locks

Hey, i've got a P910i open to all networks but the MMS settings have a read only lock on them, thus I can't change them from the old Vodafone to the new Virgin Mobile settings in the UK. Quite annoying that I can't use it. Is there a quick and easy way around it?
