iam planning to buy the audiovox smt 5600 for my brother and i want to know if i can play mp3 songs onn that phone and if it will support or coomes with stereo heaad phones

Yes, it will play mp3's. With TCPMP, it will play ogg, mp3, mp4, aac, avi, mpeg, wma, wmv, divx, and mov. The 5600 comes with a stereo headset, I believe.

Yeah, it plays MP3s, it would help if you read up on the phone a lil as that's standard knowledge. I'm sure you can even download the manual somewhere. It comes with Windows Media Player 10 so it supports stereo headphones but doesn't come with any as far as i know. You get the adapter needed tho.

The 5600 I bought from Cingular came with a carrying case and a stereo headset that fit the smaller connector. However, if you buy it and it doesn't come with it, you can always, and the above poster mentioned, get an adaptor and use a standard stereo setup.
