Music format

I have a Motorola v557 and I have a song that I want to put on my phone with my bluetooth but I have to put it in a certain format, what format would that be? The phone is compatible with mp3, do u think it is because the song is like too big or something?

i think the song is too big, because a v551 only has like 5.5 meg, i would shrink the song and then transfer it to ur phone, and yes mp3 format is the right format for a v551

SEARCH is your friend, this has been covered MANY, many times.
192k constant bitrate MP3. Reduce it to mono because stereo is pointless with one speaker. The V557 doesn't have a whole lot of free memory even after clearing out the useless stuff, so it's also pointless to try and upload an entire song on such a phone.
