anyone bought their GD87/88 from an ebay seller?
any recommended no scammer sellers? and did you get to pay custom fees when it was been shipped to you?
Looking to get one from ebay because i've seen GD87s going in the US$400, new.

I'm over here in Hong Kong right now, and I thought I could possible find the GD88 relatively cheap. Boy was I wrong.....that phone is currently the MOST EXPENSIVE of all the phones I have seen here. Around 4800+ HKD (almost 600 USD). The GD87 is only about 500 HKD less. Even the BEAUTIFUL new NEC phones are cheaper!

BTW...........the Nokia 3650 is about 3180 HKD, which is around 410 USD. Not bad.

at the places where you seen the GD88's in HK, did you happen to see any pink or blue versions there? Also, where did you go to find the GD88 for 4800HKD?

Haha.. 4800 is pretty good already.. considering that I bought it for 5888 before Christmas..

I bought mine on Ebay. The seller was VERY good and professional.

With 2nd day shipping I paid $571. I would definitely recommend purchasing from this seller again.

You can find him under 4cellular.com or American Communication Specialist. They also have their own website where you can buy the phone also.

I have only seen the silver one. 4800-5000 is the going rate pretty much everywhere. Sham Shui Po has them the cheapest.

What a shame the NEC N8 is only dual-band (beautiful phone!).....that is currently the top of the line phone over here. Not many places carry them since they just came out. The N8 is an upgrade of the N8000, that it includes a camera, and 65k external screen.

Heh I just found a place in Tsim Sha Tsui East that is selling the 88 (pink, blue, or silver), for 4200. I think I'll get it.
