z520a broken, need to UL numbers & pics!

I have received a replacement from Cingular wireless and have a USB data cable for my phone, but I need to know what software I need to have in order to remove my numbers and pics from my old phone.
The pics are of a sensitive nature, and the numbers are absoluely priceless, so any help I get would be welcome. Cingular has already told me this is "impossible" 
but I know better from having worked in a phone company before...
