ok maybe some of u can help...

outside of my neighborhood..my sidekick works 4 bars everything but as soon as i get in my neighborhood and my house im searching and sometimes ill have 4 bars like now but no GPRS logo or watever so nothing works..

Will this be this way forever or is there really server work going on? My sister had T Mobile and her phone worked fine in the house but my sidekick isnt working in my neighborhood at all and my friend has a sk2 and its working just fine in my house (or it has in the past)

sounds like your sidekick is messed up. do you have all the updates?

how do i get the updates? i just got hte sidekick this morning

The latest update is 2.3. Go into (Settings) then (about sidekick) which can be found by hitting the menu button on the main screen. Check what OS you have. The updates should download automatically when you are in an area with full service and then you will get a notification.

I have v2.0...when i was gettin full service i didnt get a notification..is there anyway i can manually do it

Ok update I checked my coverage area and I'm in an excellent area and also found out that my friends sidekick 2 stopped working in my house a while ago and even on my street...

What gives? Is there anything that can be done since it seems as my street is a dead street, but for sidekicks only bc tmobile phones work in my house
