I know the price for an upgrade with no contract extension, for people that are not in thier 11th (on 1 yr contract) or 22nd (on 2yr contract) month of contract, is $479.99. Maybe thats the price they qouted you.

what is it for a one year if you're not under that?

If you log onto my-tmobile.com. And then go to the upgrades, it will show you the different prices you qualify for. But I think for one year is $349.99

I dunno why...but I've only had t-mobile for like 2 months...and i upgraded twice already...meaning i upgraded both the phones on my account once...Umm so i am just letting you all know that the 11 month and 22 month or what not...its pretty much bs...right after 60 days...u can upgrade and get the lowest handset price...thats what i did and i got the SK3 for 299.99...booka!

I definitely didn't qualify for a full upgrade and I still got my Sidekick 3 for only $299.99 on the 28th.

Nah, just the basic 2 year that i can get out of anytime i need to...but Tmobile works for me.

You shouldn't be paying anymore than that just for the phone.

im pretty sure it depends on your credit...for example, if you have a good credit score/history of paying your bills on time, they will get their money from the longevity of the customer...on the other hand, if you aren't paying your bills on time/crappy credity, you're more of a liability...

the actual cost of phones for dealers etc. is much higher than the "MSRP" on the site...
