I have an L7 and the volume on the handset is practicly non-existent. When I make or receive calls, I can barely hear the faintest sound coming from the other party. I've turned the volume to max and no help. the volume for the "speakerphone" setting works fine... it's pleanty loud... the volume for the ringer is just fine as well. I realize that those come from a seperate speaker. If anyone knows a quickfix, please let me know.

Hi Guys...I'm having this same problem.

I am with Fido (Rogers) in Canada. My phone is L7 unlocked.

1. I flashed my L7 with R4513_G_08.B7.DAR_RB_PDS015_LP0039_DRM0101_JPJAVA_ G_08_L7_06_00_03R_SE5548AXXF510E_1FF_MOTOX.shx. and the volume is too low.

2. I used P2Ktools to change the volume and changed the earpiece volume to 5 (I tried 0,1,2,3,4 as well) but there is no difference.

3. Then I tried R4513_G_08.B7.DAR_RB_GSTROYBCIN01NA124_flexlash_by MOTOX.shx (Cingular Flexlash UNLOCKED by MotoX) and the volume is very good but the reception is very low and there is no music player. so I flashed it back to the first one.

Can someone please tell me if I can apply a flexlash to it to fix this or how else I can fix this?

Thanks a lot for you help.

After you changed the earpice volume with P2K tool, you must restart the phone before the setting take place, and remember DO NOT SET THE VOLUME OVER 4!!!

To change the volume levels on the SLVR (beyond the default 1-7 settings) you have to edit the gain table.

Instructions on how to do this are here under SEEM editing:
