Menu speed flash on PEBL?

I have an unlocked, T-Mobile branded PEBL U6 and just compiled everything to begin flashing on my Mac, courtesy of Poetic_Folly's guide (which is amazing) and still have a few questions about the flash itself.

Can I make the menu speed faster with a new flash? Like when you're scrolling through contacts, it is painfully slow compared to my old LG VX9800. Also will that change text entry speeds? For example, sending a text message. You start going at a fast enough pace and the phone can't keep up with the letter input in real time...which is also something my 9800 wouldn't do.

I don't mind losing the TMO branding, assuming I can still access T-Zones and stuff, which I think I can if I configure it correctly with the settings in the TMO board. Lastly, a flash doesn't erase contacts or jack with settings and stuff, right? I concluded it was just a hardware change and wouldn't touch the flex info of the phone...

So, does anyone have any help for me? I found an MP and a few flashes but didn't know if they would help me out in these areas. If anyone knows where I can find a flash that can do these things, that would be great.

Blast. Now I just need to find a stock unlocked flash and settle with this horrendously slow UI.

MotoX isn't working for me, for whatever reason, but I found a thread on MoMo that had some firmware in it. It looked like the newest stuff but I am still not sure as to what it would change, if anything. Maybe just more stable? I don't know, tell me what you think.

I liked the one I posted above. For some reason the 2AR seemed to be lagging.

Ok thanks DJDownhill. I think I will just extract the flash file and and use that, I don't want a flex. That way I don't have to do anything except flash the phone...right? No LP to add or anything? Sorry, still really new to flashing and there isn't really a definitive answer that I could find.

The frist file I posted is a full Monsterpack flash/flex/DRM/LP/and so on.

the only gotcha is the bootloader/rsa combination if you make a reflash.
use the mp and remove the unwanted cg's the compile a new shx. got
caught with this when I moved my pebl from 08.76 to 08.83 !!!
