I have a new Sanyo SPC-3100 and I can upload the PRL but I can't program the NAM. I used the following program don't work:

BITPIM . Failing to Read file system
UNICDMA . Appear [unknown] on SPC
SPC for 8300. Reading error
SPC811 unloker. Reading Error

I can see the ESN, Lock code and others regular information on all programs but no the system file or the SPC code. Please help me???

I can read other phones with BitPim. What Kind of Configurations are you talking about, You need to install the drivers and the software BitPim and that set. Or I need some thing else... other software or what??? Beocuse, I can load the PRL...

That phones are from Sprint!!! and I try with 3 diferents phones of the same model, per esch and de BitPim no read the System File to get the SPC.

in the options where you choose the phone. set it to "OTHER CDMA PHONE" and just read file system.

WSP - are you using the DataPilot drivers for BitPim? I read on their website that the native BitPim drivers didn't support the SCP-3100 (I have a Sprint SCP-3100 as well).

KevBo - can BitPim add / delete ringtones, contact info, etc. on the SCP-3100? Are the Data Pilot drivers necessary?

Thanks!

Peace.

Dont post what you dont know
the 3100 can not be read by bitpim do not belive it

in order to get the spc you must read the memory using unicdma starting at addresse 0x01800000
use win hex or any other hex editor and search for 33284

$%#@!!! Sanyo 3100....

Although the price was right for this phone (pretty much free when we converted to Sprint) I am not thrilled that I can't interact with it via BitPim.

BitPim gurus - what phone would you recomend as being the best "entry level camera phone" (eg. I don't need my phone to have an MP3 player) that IS compatible with BitPim (eg. I can transfer pics, ringtones, contact info, etc. using BitPim)?

Peace.

@Kevbodian
could u tell me 'bout the pinout to make sure bitpim can do what our wants?
do u use usb or com cable?

With the SCP-3100, BitPim can read and write the phonebook and calendar. It can also read call history, text messages and todos. It can not upload ringers or photos to the phone and it can not read camera pictures. Also the filesystem is not accessible. When run under Windows, it needs the Sanyo drives from DataPilot.
