What' up guys,

I bought a V3 off eBay and have modded it a little. I decided to look up the Flash and flex to see how far behind it is and couldn't find the Flex at all. It is SE8613AXXL1079. Can any one tell me where this is from? Also, I noticed that some of the Flexes start with GSM and some with SE. What is the difference? I'm very new to V3s but did some work with V400s and V551s.

If you want to learn how to get the most out of that V3 of yours check out the site in my signature, it'll walk you through most every mod out there for that phone.

IIRC SE indicates a European origin and GSM is for America? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong hopefully.

I guess you're right since no one corrected you. There were configs for Vodafone. Are they European?

SE indicates a European origin and GSM, but on the GSM side of things there are different branding for each carrier, ie vodofone, cingular, orange, etc..

Just my .02 cents worth...
