I'm debating hard on one of these. I'm nervous about the issues with the QTek and I've seen others post some little issues with the Dopod.

The calls not coming in issue is huge with me, but I wanted to see from a poll standpoint how many own what......

So the poll is....which do you have or would you choose......

I can't really compare it because I don't have a Dopod to compare it with. And since it is nod CID unlocked, I cannot put the Dopod ROM on my Qtek. If what hberbout says is correct, and I believe him, Qtek will have a ROM update out relatively soon. (I would venture a guess within 1-2 weeks). It could happen sooner if all they have to do is grab the Dopod ROM, slap the Qtek branding on it and distrubute it.

I like my Qtek. If it takes having to check for mail every 15 min to band-aid the issue until the ROM is posted, then so be it...

I got the Qtek and don't have any problems. The Qteks are going for as cheap as $420 on ebay, i don't see a reason why you should pay a 100 bucks more!!!

i just checked the website, they only have the qtek 8500, no dopod s300

Haven't had any problems with the Dopod S300 on Cingular.

Just go into profiles and edit the normal profile, thats where you find the option to set ring&vib.

Well, I haven't used the Dopod... so based on that, I would have to say that the vote is between one phone that receives calls and one that doesn't. So clearly, if you have to buy *right now* go with the S300.
