Hi All,

I'm a recent owner of an 8125 (2 weeks ago). My question is pretty simple. I'm www.dslreports/mspeed to test the speed of my connection.... I'm geting 127 kbit/sec. Seems like others on this forum have posted much higher speeds.... Am I missing something here?

BTW) The edge (E) appears at the top of my screen and I'm using wap.cingular without the proxy (if that matters).

Speed varies depending on location, conditions, network conditions, etc.

I'm located in Plano, TX.

So this is not a rediculously slow connection speed for EDGE? BTW) I forgot to mention in my previous post that I'm running this test from PIE on the devices (not sure if that matters)....

Thats about average for an EDGE connection.

Using the 100K test I got 114kb/sec with out the Cingular proxy and 164kb/sec with.
