Repairing 903...

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

My 903 decided to stop turning on. Out of the blue turned off and never turned back on again. The guy I bought it from (I think the only shop that really sells any imported phones in the Seattle area) told me he would send it back to the guy he buys it from so that guy can send it out for warranty. Curious if anyone's ever had there 903 sent back to where ever? Mine's been gone for 4 months now and all they call tell me is that it's in Japan at a shop..
I don't know what's going to happen first, getting my 903 back or the unlock for my 904.... AHH..

err.. thats odd. it shouldnt' take that long to repair. well i'd keep pressuring them if i were you

ya keep pressuring them. they probably arent even trying to contact the shop in japan. they are most likely just feeding you that bs to get you off their back.

keep talkin to them.. or ask for a replacement 903 and tell them to worry about the one in japan by themselves.

i'd do the same... if the shop offered some kind of warranty, 4 months is way to long, that's 4 months of lost phone usage.... I mean, YOU might have a backup phone.... but not everyone has backups..... I'd hold on tight for 2 weeks personally, maybe 1 month if i wanted sth bad, but by then id have a replacement, but you can't expect everyone to be able to buy a replacement phone etc.... get them to give you another 903.

wut can i do if the shop dont offer warranty. is there anyway i can get this fix.

Yea... I work in the same mall as the shop and I'm not mad at the guy that sold it to me, the guy that he gets his phones from is such a flake.
Anyway, I bothered them again today and they said one more month or I'm just going to get my cash back. The guy is pretty cool, bought a Nokia 7710 from him and it had absolutely no signal anywhere, and he warrantied (is that a word...) it for me, it's just this 903 is taking much too long...
