WTF is going on with Cingular. Now att gophone customers must migrate or lose their services. The date is still TBD but sometime in September. Somebody at hq has some balls. That class action lawsuit probably will not get thrown out.

TBD right now is the 30th of september but they are giving extra benefits to those Blue Go Phone customers that do migrate like a selection of free phones (after rebate... check with the closest store to see if you are in a participating market).

I don't think it will kill us that much. I think I have taken 1 blue gophone payment in the last 6 months

My mother is a senior that I gave my F2G to during hurricane season a few years back...she carries it strictly for emergency purposes.

I just spoke to customer service last week while adding $$ to my Mom's. (she wouldn't know a txt msg if she got one, and gets buried in "wrong number voice mails". I just cleared out the voice mails and there was no msgs, and I have not receied mail. When I spoke to CS, they told that there is NO plan announced at this time to end the F2G other than the general end of TDMA ~2008 with the Analog service. The phone is assigned in the WCFL area. Do you have a number where I can reach someone that actually knows what the status is in her market?

the Blue Go phone means the GSM Go Phone system that was on AT&T.
