V3M Flashed to Alltel 4.04 V3C Skin Problems

I have a Verizon V3M that I successfully flashed to the Alltel 4.04 V3C. Everything is up and running and working fine, but when I follow the instructions to put skins on the phone I can successfully place the files with P2KCommander 3.2.6. However when I enter the Menu->Settings->Personalize->Skin... my skins that I put on the phone don't show up. Am I missing something? I'm using the skins that are made for the CDMA forums from the link in the WIKI guide. Any help would be appreciated...I'm confused.

Yeah. Use Skinner4Moto. Load your skin's .ski file. There is a "Fix Font" button on the left side panel. Cick that and then click the save. Use your program of choice to transfer to your phone.

i also just flashed my v3m to the alltell 4.04 but i think my ui is messed up...
i also tried the older alltell 3..same thing.

is the bottom bar with 'personal' and 'styles' supposed to be red just like the verizon bar?

it seems everything else is changed though..
