G35

07 4Runner with a spoiler

$33k..... It depends on your personality, I'm a family man so I'm looking into a Nissan Murano. I don't know how old you are, married single, kids or not?

22, maybe engaged later. I dont want kids in the future.

I'm very happy with my G-coupe

but I also wldnt mind an H3

Posted by: chops

why the hell would you want a hummer h2...the thing gets 5mpg? ok besides that...its FUGLY, the interior looks exactly like a tahoe/suburban/yukon (whatever gmc calls em nowadays)....except for an overly gigantic automatic shift knob. ive driven countless H2's where i work and u honestly have to mash on the gas peddle to even get moving, everyone ive driven is a rattling hunk of metal, and its a ***** to park...and my job is to park cars.

cant say the same about the h3 though...never driven/been in one.

you're 22, get the g35, i LOVE driving those...they are the most fun to drive, and the 6spd is smooth. the interior is nice and the navi system is neat. the engine note is awesome, its an awesome sports car.

im not hating on domestics if anyone is gonna try to say that...its just most of em are crap, and ive driven all sorts of cars, from audi, to ford, to maserati, to porsche and everything in between

Posted by: Zaku_4

well

out of all the cars u listed, i personally would get the g35 (unless u need space to drive otehres/need security of awd during winter months).

the h2 is a piece of ****. the h3 is just a smaller piece of ****

EDIT: plano texas? ugh i dunno wherre that is but i assume there is like no snow. SOO unless u might need to move alot of stuff around and need space to do so, get the 4runner, otherwise g35 =D

Scratch another vote in for the G35. You might want to wait a bit for the 2007 to come out though, I hear it's due around fall?

Posted by: DipLoMaTz

I'd def go for the g35 not sure how into cars you are but g35 american skyline... Get the g35 6MT around here...san anotonio tx starts around 33.8k ask your parents for the extra 10k get some upgrades what you dont spend at the dealer save for aftermarket upgrades...

Posted by: k1ngp1n

i would also say go for the g35, i th ink it best suits ur current lifestyle

Posted by: camera_moto88

another vote for the G35...

Posted by: Woogie650

G35 has my pick.

i don't know about you, but if i were going to get a vehicle with a truck based chassis, i'd want lots of power. The H2 and H3 both seem a tad bit underpowered to me unless you go for the biggest engine. Even then, in my opinion, you'd only be paying for the name. Are you really getting an H2/H3? or are you really getting a suburban/cherokee? Good luck being seen driving it either cars, you'll spend most of your time at the pumps or at the stealership.

I know the G35 is based off the 350z, but the price difference isn't too bad for all the interior, exterior, drivetrain upgrades that you'll get with the G35. As for waiting for the next gen to come out, personally, im not a big fan of getting cars the first year they're out (for their generation). I dont know exactly when the G35 is getting a facelift, but if the new G35 (or whatever it'll be called) is coming out in 08, i'd get an 06 or 07.

It's quite obvious that no one understands the point of the H2 or has even driven one if they say it's a piece of ****.

You seem to have a broad range of choices there: one all out truck, two "city" trucks, and one luxury sedan. What do you want? Do you want a sedan or do you want a truck? Personally out of those choices, I'd get the H2. That's my dream truck and I hope to have one one day.

I drove one, and I really was not impressed with it, especially for its hefty price tag. Yeah I'm way above everyone else, but I just don't have that urge to run over everything.

But I agree with you, there's such a wide spectrum of vehicles here it's very hard to narrow things down.

ive driven probably every single color of the H2...all my coworkers agree, they are crap for what they cost...for the price of an H2 you could get a Porsche Cayenne S with more horsepower and better gas mileage. H2's are nothing too amazing at all...imo

Posted by: cidknee

id have to vote for the G35... and yes the H2 and 3 are garbage. Ive driven them both... they are WAY overpriced, and WAY underpowered. They have little practical use in this modern society. Unless you like shelling out a small fortune to pay for gas for every fill up, and not getting that many miles for it. Persoanlly, I wouldnt take any of them, gas wasters all of them, but if I had to choose, I'd choose the G35.

When we were out looking for a new SUV, we checked out all kinds of SUVs. Among the choices, we looked at the X5, GX470, H2, QX56, and the MDX. I drove the H2, i liked it, but sure as heck not as much as all the other vehicles i listed. We ended up buying the GX470.

Posted by: Johnny217818

Okay, so I guess its a G35. Anybody in the DFW area who wants to go with me to dealership on tuesay? I will purchase lunch for you. Maybe Binx wants to go.

So my RSX goes to my gf and her TL goes to her mom.

Oh and yeah, I really want a full sized vehical but Maybe im not ready for it. I wnat one becuase me and my buddies like to go hiking alot and often we have to drive 2 vehicals. Im only gonna keek this car for like 2 or 3 years anyways. My next car is defently a Hummer or a LUX fullsizevehicale.

Posted by: chadt621

I live in Flower Mound and bought a G35 coupe in Plano a month ago. It's an awesome ride. Best car I've ever owned. If you're gonna buy a new one, I would get it from Sewell. Just because their name alone makes reselling it easier

Actually, shows how much people know.

The H3 in gas mileage is comparable to many SUVs in todays market.

19-23 miles per gallon

Proud H to the 3 & NSX Owner.

out of the choices you listed, get the G35 and do the rest of American society a favor by not wasting space on our highways and wasting gas, creating more artificial demand and pushing our prices higher

plus, showing up in a Hummer does not make a good impression on people of quality

Posted by: 91RS

As far as I would be concerned, people of "quality" could kiss my *** if they don't like what I drive (and that doesn't apply to just a Hummer).

Posted by: buhdussy

I hate how people on this board always ask others "which car should I buy." Just go to the dealerships, drive each of the cars you listed, and then make your choice. When you ask this question, people give their Opinions, they are usually biased (I know, mine are biased too). Get the car you want, not what others tell you. If you want the H2 and can afford to fill the tank, then get it. Get the one YOU like to drive and look at, it's a big investment and you've got to drive it everyday.

Posted by: vietalogy

get the new infiniti G.

Posted by: chorro

yep, get the g35. The only difference between g35 and the 350z is that the g35 is geared more towards luxury. Aside from that, they're both pretty nicely tuned from the manufacturer. I've heard that the g35 has much more headroom than the 350z and people who've driven the 350z say it's kind of cramped.

Posted by: boost_i95

Why not get the Q56? Put some nice rims on it, tint it and ur set.

Posted by: paul34

^^ That's just a Nissan Armada. Might as well save a little money and get the Armada if you really want a large SUV like that.

Posted by: werepants

I agree that the G35 is the way to go.

For a young, single guy an H2 is... less than good. They are for rich suburban soccer moms or middle-aged guys with an inferiority complex. The H3 is a better option IMO.

I think the G35 would be the most fun to drive, the most reliable, the best to get you a lady or make your lady look good, and the best match for your lifestyle.

Get what you want though. No sense spending that much money if you don't like something.

Posted by: ggskateboards

My uncle has an H2, and since I'm a car freak I've examined it, taken it apart, fixed it, MULTIPLE times. I'm a domestic freak, and I'll tell you right here, the H2 is a lemon. The only ones I'd consider would be the 4Runner or the G35. If you want the space get the 4Runner, if you just wanna enjoy yourself at premium gas prices, get the G35. Also look at the new Subarus while you're at it, those things are amazing. Whatever you do, stay away from the Hummers, I fix my uncle's on about a monthly base, he even bought an OBDII scanner to save money.

Posted by: paul34

Of course, if you really want a Hummer while still preserving your masculinity, get a H1 with a fifty cal mounted on top

That is a man's vehicle. the H2 is a glorified minivan. i bet <1% of H2's ever sold see anything but pavement.

Posted by: NineToez

4Runner Sport Edition

Posted by: chesterton

the Infiniti G is the only good choice in this group. The two Hummers are made of AIDS and fail, driven only by retards and ppl w/ no taste. The Toyota 4Runner is also acceptable, if you must insist on a SUV. The 2007 G35 sedan's brilliant car, and 2008 will bring a new coupe (the 2007 G35 coupe is last gen).
