Treo 650 GPRS not working. Customer Support closed.

So, I was given a Treo 650 at work and I have discovered that data does not work. The default settings had it connecting to the wap.cingular APN. When connecting it says signing on and then canceling. I tried the settings for isp.cingular and same results. My guess is, this SIM is not enabled to use data.

Would my guess be correct? I can't call customer service because.. they're closed.. I don't have access to the corporate account to check online so I'm relying on the HoFo community to be my customer support and hold me over until Cingular CS opens tomorrow.

I have tried using public and proxy as the APN with no username and password (yes I am using a username and passwords for the others WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM and ISP@CINGULARGPRS.COM with password CINGULAR1) and I get an error saying that my configuration is incomplete.

I would expect a better error message if the connection didn't work but I guess we don't get one.

Well it turns out I guessed right. No data provisioned for my number and now it works.
