Allow me to welcome myself to this section of the forum. I have always lurked around, but when I got my Nokia 6682 yesterday, I figured I should jump in here. I think these forums are probably the best cell phone forums on the net.

Anyway... the 6682 is replacing my 6230b, and so far I love it! I spent most of the day at work downloading themes and apps.... err... "researching various projects". I have already ordered a RS DV MMC from NewEgg, which should be here Monday or Tueday. I decided to go with the 512 to start out with. Too bad the MMC from my 6230 won't fit, but oh well. I can use it in my digi cam or something.

The only thing that is taking getting used to is the menu button on the left hand side, instead of the 6230 it was the center click.

Anyway... I look forward to good times with my 6682!

even if it fits it wouldnt work...6682 requires a dv rs-mmc...make sure u did not get a rs-mmc

I got the A-Data 512 MMC Mobile... which does work with the 6682. I checked it out before I bought it, don't worry.

The one from my 6230b is not the reduced size, which would be the only problem in getting it to work with my 6682.

Update: I got my A-Data 512 mb card, and it works wonderfully.

I have been nothing but pleased with this phone.

I am also new to the forum and congratulations on the 6682. I own one myself and I love it. I just got a 1gb card for it

So far, I have been very please with it, although I have had the occassional reboots.

yip cingular fw doesnt seem to be too stable afaik...

I must agree. Just today, my phone lost all signal strength and then started to reboot

its pretty safe to flash dont worry. just send it to a good company to get it flashed

nope..a locked phone can be using unbranded fw

i just hope they have the fw for n73 soon
