Sorry, for asking this stupid question

. But How do you connect your phone to BitPim. I have the LG VX8300. Can you connect through bluetooth? Or do you have to have a cable. Also, if you dont have bluetooth on your computer, can you go through, like a wireless connection? Or can you buy a bluetooth USB connecter or somthing. Please help, search button isnt helping. Thanks

EDIT: Also, in bitpim theres no option for 8300. Do i select the 8100, or the 9800.

The newest version of bitpim supports the 8300.

Thanks for asking this; I was told you also need a driver for the cable. Did anyone tell you where to get these? Maureen

I would assume the latest LG USB modem driver will work.

Can you use the same data cable for the 8300 as you could for the 8000?

I have the same problem. Please let me know if you get an answer. I have the LG 8300. Originally I read that you could buy a cable connector for another phone which I did but it didn't fit....Maureen H
