Hi guys,

Just a quick question - after which month did the 703SHf become impossible to unlock? I did a search but it brought up a whole heap of irrelevant ****.

Aren't all 703SHf CID-73? I think they can be unlocked, but only with the Japanese firmware (and with a TP). The SHs were out first and changed into CID-73 with time (about the same time as 903shs were upgraded to that platform), then the 703SHf came out with the FeLiCa chip (based on the CID-73 all way through). As I can see that they can be flashed, they can be unlocked - this is my assumption.

If I've missed something, please correct me. This is how I think things are.

Yes, as far as I know they're all CID73. However, from a certain production date, I read they changed even further. 703SHf was only ever released with Japanese firmware, so you can't flash it to anything else. The one I'm looking at in particular is a 3/2006 production date, but I don't know the IMEI.
