Multitasking on the m600

With all the hoopla about memory issues on the N/E nokia devices in the S60 forum, I was wondering how the new UIQ devices were holding up on this front? do you have any memory issues when surfing? Are you able to have the media player and other programs open at the same time without crashing / slowing the device?

Thanks

Works fine for me so far (fingers crossed). Dont get caught up on the memory number fixation that winmobile emigrants seemt o have. Multitasking works fine.

The only problem this phone seems to have running progs is that it just plain cannot handle large size videos. It can take like 2 mins to load a video file abov 40MB.

Seems there is some problem with how it sets up the streams or whatver for large files. Otherwise its cool. If they can fix that in an update then all is fine. If not they better stop claiming it plays videos.

i've had no issues running media files (music and video)

encoded a dvd rip of lost to mp4 and it played flawlessly (Bitrate about 350, 100+mb in size)
playing music and scrolling through the menu's responding to SMS works solid as well. no hiccups or stutters like the new nokia's i tried.

I would keep my m600i but i really want(need) a cam so i'm going with the k800i for now.

the only thing i can't comment on is the web casue i don't use data.
