Hi, I bought this phone today and I have to say I'm very impressed so far.

Couple of problems though which hopefully are not serious and more to do with me being a bit...erm...slow.

Problem 1. Next to the signal bars I have a picture of a red phone with a red arrow on top of it, is this normal? how do I get rid of it?

Problem 2. My most frustrating problem, is it just me or is it impossible to take the battery cover off?!! I need to get my sim card out and I just can't get the bloody thing off!

Any help would be greatly appriecited

1) red phone/bar - if the arrow is straight then it's accepting calls from a
group list, if it's down then up it's call(s) diverted.

2)Ah ... the battery cover ... there is a knack. Push down in the center at
the joint, then with BOTH thumbs push the sides, near the joint. For the first
couple of times it'll be a real pain to get off !

Ahh...you had the same battery cover problem I (and a lot of other ppl) had.

Count your " Lucky Stars" if you need to get the battery off. Sry couldnt resist.

I had the same problem for the first few times that I had to take the battery cover off. But it'll get worked in and then it becomes easier to take it off.

yeah... to take it off the first times is just really hard

but afterwards it gets a lot easier
