V3i NO Sound Problem!

One I dial or receive a call I cant hear ANYTHING. If I put the phone on speaker its ok, and the rest of the funtions on the phone work but I cant get sound from the regular earpiece on the phone!. I bought it 2/06. What should I do?

I called motorola, they said that either send it to them or go to a local repair associate authorized by motorola (which i havent done yet) but the piece works fine sumtimes, so before sumthign big happens I put it up fro sale on ebay.

gain_table.bin controls the sound levels of the phone. you'd need to hav SEEM Editing (hex) knowledge to pursue this further. it is very easy to do so read up on it when you have time.
